Three quotes, one approved amount — what the file should show
Attaching quotes is not the same as documenting why one total became the approval amount.
Korean and multinational groups alike often require multiple quotes above a threshold. The weakness we see is not missing PDFs; it is the missing bridge between the quotes and the number on the approval line. Sometimes the approved amount matches none of the quotes because shipping was added later. Sometimes it matches the middle quote with no note on why the lowest was refused.
When we perform a financial audit of those applications, we look for a short selection note — even a paragraph in the email trail — that ties the chosen figure to a named quote and states the reason for discarding the others. Without that bridge, later readers invent motives. With it, the file survives a calm second reading.
If your policy already requires the note, treat blank selection fields as incomplete applications, not as stylistic preference.
