Refund and cancellation policy

Scope

This policy applies to professional engagements with Intel Portal for financial audit and related reviews of procurement approval applications. It does not cover goods, software licences, or subscription products — we do not sell those.

Eligibility

Refunds depend on how much work has started and whether a deposit was paid to reserve a review window.

Timeframe to request

Cancellation or refund requests should be sent in writing to hello@intel-portal.digital within 14 days of the event that triggers the request (for example, cancellation notice or delivery of a deliverable you believe is outside scope).

Full refund

A full refund of fees paid (including deposit) is available if we cancel the engagement for reasons on our side, or if you cancel in writing before we confirm that document intake has begun and before any fieldwork hours are logged.

Partial refund

If you cancel after document intake has begun but before the findings brief is delivered, we refund fees paid minus time already spent at the agreed rates, documented in a short statement. The non-refundable portion will not exceed actual work performed plus any non-recoverable third-party costs agreed in advance (for example, booked out-of-city travel).

Non-refundable items

• Fees for completed pre-award reviews once the annotated checklist has been delivered
• Portions of work already delivered in phased batch audits
• Third-party costs you pre-approved in writing

Process

Email hello@intel-portal.digital with your engagement reference, reason for the request, and preferred refund method. We confirm receipt within two business days and state the proposed refund amount.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method when possible, or by bank transfer to a Korean account you nominate.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule a reserved review window once without charge if you give at least five business days’ notice and the new dates fall within 60 days of the original start. Later or repeated reschedules may require a new deposit.

Deposits

Deposits secure auditor time. They are applied to the final invoice. They are refundable under the full-refund rules above; otherwise they are credited against work performed.

No-shows and delayed documents

If on-site sessions are booked and your team is unavailable without 24 hours’ notice, we may charge for the reserved half-day. If document packs arrive more than ten business days late without agreement, we may release the reserved window and require a new deposit to rebook.

Work already started

Once fieldwork reading has begun, cancellation converts to a partial refund as described above. You remain entitled to working papers produced for fees retained, subject to confidentiality.
